淬煉多年，台北硬蕊（hardcore）樂隊 SPIT! 終於推出首張同名專輯。這張短小精練（18 分鐘）的作品揉合了 sludge、hardcore、d-beat 與其他極端音樂元素，先是以長達兩分鐘的巨大吉他反饋為開頭，接連幾首不到 60 秒的急速轟炸，之後再以低緩而令人窒息的 sludge 作為橋接，這種「匍匐後全力衝刺！」的節奏切換，正是 power violence 的精髓所在。 SPIT! 將這張錄音品質精良的專輯，獻給所有喜歡龐克與硬蕊音樂的朋友，特別是那些對 Trash Talk、Ceremony、SLANT 以及經典 power violence 樂團如 Despise You、Siege 與 Dropdead 的成癮的樂迷們！


SPIT! 成員有：卓庭孜（主唱）、培根（吉他）、張盛文（吉他）、阿龐（貝斯）以及明宣（鼓手），在組成這支 hardcore／power violence 樂隊之前，成員們已在台北音樂場景裡頭活躍著（透明雜誌、自私的渾蛋、無秩序、人類暴行、Crampma…等）。


Taipei hardcore band SPIT! has released its debut self-titled album. SPIT!, founded by members of Touming Magazine, Selfish Sucker, No Order, Crampma, Human Brutality…, and etc, is a quintet consisting of veterans and new blod active in Taipei’s underground music scene. 


SPIT!’s debut self-titled album is a dagger of hardcore, power violence, and d-beat refined to their essense. In this energetic and ferocious piece, SPIT! entices its audience to stomp in the mosh pit with a series of less-than-60-second blasts, often bridged by the sludgy rhythms, which is exactly the quintessence of power violence. The S/T is dedicated to fans of punk and hardcore, especially to diehards devoted to Trash Talk, Ceremony, SLANT, Despise You, Siege, and Dropdead.


The cassettes of SPIT!’s S/T are released by Taipei punk collective Suck Glue Boys. The first edition is limited to 100 copies, with solid purple shells and risograph-printing J-cards, packaged in clear cases. Each cassette comes with a unique Bandcamp download code.
